The Russells
Retained and new Buildings, four of which were Grade II Listed and were formally part of the Gordon Russell Furniture Factory, Design Studio and Offices
The current building was built as a furniture factory in the 1930s and incorporated a neighbouring Victorian factory. On the corner of two main streets there was a Barclays Bank and a shop.
Like many buildings in the area it had been vacant for many years and its condition deteriorated.
The factory has now been transformed into retail and restaurants on the ground floor with apartments on the upper three floors.
