New House In Traditional Cotswold Style
A spectacular bespoke new build Cotswold home of 5000ft² located in a Conservation Area. Mike Lapworth worked hand in hand with the client for this project
The new house was built on the last vacant plot on a private road and reflects the exclusive character of the area which features very large detached houses standing in their own plots.
The site is in a Conservation Area and there are a number of Listed Arts and Crafts style houses on the Estate which was the style of architecture the owners wanted for their new home.
Mike Lapworth designed the whole house from scratch which is laid out over four floor levels and the layout was arranged to make the most of the large garden and to meet the owners’ requirements.
Working closely with the owners, Mike Lapworth was retained to assist with the ongoing design and detail and to supervise the construction phase.
